I'm a 50 year old woman and can out bench my husband! My 225 lbs beats his 195 lbs. I was a swimmer when I was young and still have broad shoulders wider than my husband. They say that men like women who are small and petite. However, because I am thin, I crave women who are bigger and stronger than I am (and I got my wish many times!). I don't care ow many people might say there is something wrong with me. No one turns me on like a big, powerful lady!!! ThinJul 20 2010 1:50pm My wife wanted me to join her in her gym a year ago. She had been working out for 2,5 years, 2-3 times a week. This was a gym with mainly machines, very few free weights. Totally dominated by women, I would say 80% women. My wife showed me how to use the machines and then on each machine lowered the weights before I should use them. She thought this was totally natural, I was the rookie and she the experienced and because of that also stronger. When we came to the bench machine she started pumping reps with 60 kgs on. When she was about to reduce the resistance I said that I wanted to try. She looked concerned and said that she didn't want me to hurt myself, this was said without her teasing or mocking. I lay down and started to press. I couldn't move the bloody thing at all! I tried a couple of times and realized that I was not strong enough to bench 60 kgs in this machine. I am not a big burly man and this was probably the third visit for me to a gym in all my life but I still thought that being a man would give me the strength to at least bench the same as a woman. My wife lowered the weight to 30 kgs. I could pump out 3 x 7 with that weight, the last reps with difficulties. I asked her what her max was. She said she didn't know but she thought she could bench at least 80 kgs on this machine. She lay down and did 3 reps with 80 on. I tried 40 kgs and could do 3 reps. This wasn't a contest, at least not for my wife, but I started to understand that my wife was twice as strong as me in her arms and God knows how much stronger in her legs. She hadn't used max on any of the machines when she showed me and then lowered the weights to about 50% of what she had on from the start. When we came home she could see that something was wrong. I said that I was shocked how weak I was and that I felt bad about that. She looked at me surprised and said that she thought I did really well, better than many of her (female) friend when they started. I then said that it seemed that she was twice as strong as me. She smiled and said that she had always been stronger than me and working out regularely at the gym while I never touched a weight had increased that difference. She then wanted me to feel her muscles, we often are intimate but I naver felt her flexing her muscles and they were rock hard, even if there was a layer of fat over in some parts of her body. Yhe muscle show moved to the bed and some kind of wrestling started with me loosing but also winning, the sex was great. I have been working out since then, twice a week and I can today do reps with 50 kgs on the bench machine. My wife are more active and is going to the gym 3-4 times a week. She now use 70 kgs on the bench machine and do more reps than I can with 40. She is proud of me for my improvements and I am proud of her. AnonymousJul 24 2010 3:16pm my mom used to be fat. she then took up golf and went to the gym once a week.my dad cud beat her easily wen it came to strength put after my mom had finished two years of golf it was noticable that her biceps got much bigger and she had lost alot of fat and gained alot of muscle. one day we were carrying suitcases while in the airport my dad was struggling with his heavy bag. my mom the smiled and said give it to me.she then picked it up with one arm and we could all see she had very big biceps. and very veiny arms.when we got to spain than night we were in the house and she was boasting about her muscles and she told us that she also had been going to the gym.that night she beat me my brother and my dad even when we used both arms.at the pool the next day she wore a bikini to show us her six pack and kept on flexing when ever we looked at her.it is clear that she is the strongest in our family now. and she knows it. she now has 16" biceps and huge calfs and thighs and she can lift us all over her head and loves flexing in front ov visitors and always makes us compare with us and once a week she makes two of us sit on a couch and she then lifts it like she is training.she i very strong son of strong momJul 25 2010 6:27am I started lifting with my wife about 5 years ago. After two years she caught up to me on most leafts. I started to taper off the workouts, as I got busier at work. She got more intense working out several most days of the week. She can nemch and press much more than me now. It's not even close. We had towels soaked in water and we were wringing out the water from the wet towels. I got mad at him because he was leaving to much water in the towel. Anyway, I Took the towel after he was done and twisted it wringing out a lot more water, he wasn't strong enough to get that extra water out of the towel and I then realized my arms were stronger than his! I asked him to armwrestle, we did and he lost four times! We than played mercy and I beat him! I want to all out wrestle him now and he seems afraid! He's sort of afraid of me now. I had him feel my muscles when I flexed and his hands were shaking! If I'd of known this would happen I would have started working out sooner. He literally droped to his knees in front of me and with his hands shaking he felt my thighs! I assured him that I was much stronger than him now! CarlaSep 18 2010 1:15pm Have almost the same experience Carla. I joined a gym some years ago to build up my strength. I already had good endurance. I loved lifting weights and got stronger quickly. After less than a year my husband told me that I had gotten very muscular, he felt my hard biceps and said that if I kept on lifting I would be stronger than him. I told him that I probably was stronger already and we started to push each other in a friendly arm to arm tussle. I didn't use all my power but soon realized that my husband got redder and redder, he really tried his best to push me backwards with his arms. I started to use more power and soon had my husband pinned to the wall, he couldn't get out of my grip. I started to kiss him while he struggled, he thought this was embarrassing, me "taking" him like this. I dragged him out to the floor and told him to trying to stop me from forcing him to his knees in a game of mercy. He tried his best but his arms were tired and it was so easy for me to force him down. I felt good showing him that I was stronger. I let go of his arms and he surprised me hugging my thighs and kissing me. He was ashamed of loosing but also turned on! And so was I. We have since then armwrestled, wrestled and done other strenght related games and I am too strong for him. When she started the rehab after some month she fell in love for weight lifting and for how nice she fell her toned body, and I was very supportive.
