LADIES: Did you ever engage in a clean-and-jerk/bench press (weightlifting) contest with your man?
Question: Unlike the leg press and the squat, where it is not uncommon for a woman to beat a man, the clean and jerk (lifting overhead while standing) and the bench press (lifting vertically while lying on one's back) are traditionally 'men's lifts' so if you beat your man in either one of those men's lifts, you pretty much have proven yourself! WHO DEFEATED WHOM? Also, was it in the clean and jerk or in the bench press?
