I believe it is wrong for society to dump on obese people regardless of whether they are men or women. In fact, I believe it is wrong to dump on any one for any physical characteristic they may have or lack. However, I am not sure that women are generally dumped on more than men are for being obesese. In fact some men are attracted to obesese women and hence the term BBW (big beautiful woman) has come into use especially on line. I think some of this attraction may well be because, as you point out, many obese women are physically stronger than men and, as can be seen from this forum, many men are attracted to women stronger than them, or at least excited by the thought of a woman being stronger.
Speaking of strength, it is a fact that many obese women are physically stronger than many men of average build. As is pointed out in comment #1, obese women are also known as BBWs which is the term I will use hereinafter for the sake of time and space. I have seen a BBW overpower a man of average build so just imagine how much stronger she is than a skinny man!!! Perhaps that is a big reason why so many skinny men are sexually attracted to BBWs. I saw one BBW in particular lift a very heavy weight (a fully-loaded barbell) over her head that is undoubtedly far too heavy for at least 90% of all skinny men to lift!!! As a rule (exceptions don't count), BBWs are stronger (often far stronger) than skinny men. Height doesn't make any difference, either. As a rule (exceptions don't count), short BBWs are stronger (often far stronger) than tall skinny men. The size and strength of a BBW commands RESPECT!!! As a rule, an obese woman has large muscles under her thick layers because she needs larger muscles in order to compensate for her much larger body. Her arms are stronger because they need to be. I am a thin man so I know what it's like to be physically overpowered by an obese woman. As a man, I feel no shame in admitting that I have been physically overpowered by an obese woman. As I already pointed out in my poll here, many obese women live long, healthy lives. I believe being obese should be a choice just like being slender should be a choice (metabolism permitting!!!). There is nothing wrong with being obese just like there is nothing wrong with being slender. And while obese women have obvious benefits such as having thicker, stronger bones which fight off osteoporosis, perhaps their number one benefit of all is their greater physical strength. Let's face facts. Unless they are physically challenged in some other way, obese women are STRONG!!! And many obese women are INCREDIBLY STRONG!!! There are already lots of polls and comments here about big strong women and I have to state right here that obese women who are in good health are among the biggest and strongest women of all!!! A great number of obese women can bench press more than most men can. A great number of obese women can lift a greater weight overhead than most men can. I have witnessed their incredible strength firsthand!!! In fact, I have read comments from obese women themselves, right here on these threads (with some of those ladies actually stating their weight!!!), who boast about HOW MUCH STRONGER THEY ARE THAN MEN!!! defndrofobeswomSep 17 2009 2:00pm My husband works out.
