ARE SHORT, LARGE GIRLS WHO ARE PHYSICALLY STRONG MORE INCLINED (than others) TO SHOW OFF THEIR PHYSICAL STRENGTH?
Question: At the gym, I see girls as well as guys working out with free weights. I am a very skinny guy with small muscles even though I am a bit over 6 feet tall so I know I am not strong enough to lift that much. Besides, I have other ways of getting my exercise. There are short, large girls in the 4-foot-10 to 5-foot-2 range (some are husky or stocky while others are fat) who work out with free weights. These ladies are very strong (some are not just large but VERY LARGE!!!) and they sometimes seem to be bold about proving that they can bench press more or lift more overhead than others working out in the gym, even proving that they can outlift guys who are as tall as I am!!! Those short, large girls outweigh me by plenty and, as skinny as I am, their muscles are much larger than my muscles are so I know that they can easily outlift me with no problem at all!!! They seem to be more aggressive about being large and also about being able to prove how much stronger they are than others are, perhaps in order to compensate for the fact that they are short and they are female (after all, it is tallness and maleness that traditionally signify physical strength, right?). Case in point: A short, large girl would boldly look way up at a tall guy while they are standing in front of each other and she would say to him: 'I know I can easily outlift you.' And then she would prove it by bench pressing 225 pounds while the much taller guy tried but simply could not do it. Do you believe that short, large girls who are physically strong are more inclined (than others) to show off their physical strength?
