SHOULD A GUY BE EMBARRASSED WHEN A GIRL PROVES THAT SHE IS STRONGER THAN HE IS?
Question: O.K., I have to do this poll over to rearrange the choices. I am a tall guy who was easily outlifted in weightlifting by a short girl who is much shorter than I am. She and I decided to challenge each other to find out which one of us could outlift the other in the clean and jerk (lifting above the shoulders from the floor, pausing, and then lifting overhead). I am a six-foot-tall guy. I weigh 140 pounds. She is a 4-foot-11 girl. She weighs 190 pounds. Obviously, she is over a foot shorter than I am so I was quite embarrassed after she outlifted me so easily. I was embarrassed enough as a male being outlifted by a female but I was perhaps even more embarrassed as a tall guy being outlifted by a short girl. My real question to you is: Should a tall male like me be embarrassed, ashamed or feel humiliated after he was easily outlifted by a short female who is much shorter than he is?
