It's because she has a brain. Women are going to school and developing their minds while men are watching football games. As a result, the women are more educated and better prepared for those jobs. You may wish to remain oblivious to the fact that women are earning college degrees at a higher rate than men, a majority which is rapidly increasing. It is only logical to conclude that positions of authority will become less accessible to men as time progresses, since on the whole the most qualified applicants will be female. Combined with affirmative action, which will no doubt be administered to a larger degree in today's progressive political climate, women have an extreme advantage. This is happening out in the open, not behind closed doors. I take no pleasure in contradicting you, but the facts simply do not support your position. Women of the upcoming generation are ambitious and competitive, while men are unfortunately proving to be less mature and motivated. Feminism started out as a quest for equality, but everyone underestimated the potential of women on an even playing field. Equality is no longer on the table. The fact is, more and more men are opting out of the college route to choose different, often more lucrative paths, especially the path of entrepreneurship. This is especially true of highly intelligent men who have exceptional abilities. If I were a "beneficiary" (note the quotation marks) of affirmative action, I would not be able to appreciate what would be "earned" (again, note the quotation marks) the way I would if I actually EARN what I would EARN without having to lean on the crutch of affirmative action which has always been a program that pushes people undeservedly to the front of the line in the name of the so-called "sins of the father." No one will ever be able to strip me of opportunities because of what people I never met did a century ago or two centuries ago. Today, opportunity is open to everyone regardless of race or sex. We are not living in the 1960s or the 1970s when the crutch of affirmaive action came into being. People, male or female, who fail to make it in this world today need to take one good look at themselves in the mirror. Through the decades, immigrants of all races and ethnicities have arrived in the U.S. from countries where they were oppressed and persecuted, far beyond what we could ever imagine, often escaping with their very lives such as Jews who faced certain death if they remained in Nazi-occupied countries. Countless thousands (including the Jews) arrived with absolutely nothing and then they went on to achieve great success without having to lean on the crutch of what would later become the highly controversial Affirmative Action Compliance Program." With the advantage of superior educational credentials combined with the odds slanted in their favor by quotas, women are sure to monopolize leadership positions in the workplace. This started out as a gradual trend, but it is about to snowball out of control within the next generation. There are already signs of it in the business environment today, from stricter sexual harassment policies to the increasing frequency of females being promoted over males with more seniority. For the sake of survival, we must learn to take orders from women, because we are rapidly becoming second class citizens. Most job interviews do not discuss a person's genitalia, they focus on the applicant's education, attitude, experience, accomplishments, skills, etc.. Young women today are more educated, intelligent, ambitious, organized, energetic, productive, and versatile than men. Women bring to the table more of the qualities necessary for success in the modern workplace environment than men do. There are many published articles supporting the fact that women are more competent managers. These facts have much more to do with the reality that women are promoted over men than the fact that we have vaginas.
