Here is what I believe: I believe religion has always proven to be beneficial to the world despite all of the many horrific wars and dastardly attacks (such as the September 11, 2001 attacks) that have been waged in its name (religion itself is often HIJACKED!!!). However, I also believe religion has no place whatsoever in the business world. Religion is to be practiced either at a private congregation or between trusted family and friends or at home or in a traditional house of worship such as at a church, at a mosque or at a synagogue. If I were a manager or a business owner, there is no way that I would ever allow any religious activity whatsoever to be practiced in my place of business. One big reason for that is that I would never want to have to deal with the WRATH of the ACLU (the American Civil Liberties Union). If I were a manager or a business owner, anyone caught preaching religion at my place of business would be immediately terminated (that means IMMEDIATELY FIRED!!!). Religion being practiced at a place of business, especially in this day and age? Are you kidding? HOW STUPID COULD ANYONE POSSIBLY BE??? That could easily result in LAWSUITS!!! In a place of business, there are people of many religious faiths as well as agnostics and atheists, all of whom have a perfect right under our U.S. constitution to believe whatever they want to believe with no outside encroachment from anyone. My words of wisdom to everyone is: Do not try to shove your beliefs (religious or otherwise) down other people's throats. They have a right to their own beliefs. Keep religion either at a private congregation, between trusted family and friends, or at home or in a house of worship. People go to business to do their jobs and to get paid for doing those jobs so that they can pay for their food and pay for their shelter and also to enjoy the many benefits life has to offer. People do not go to business for religious purposes. AMEN!!! If anyone (manager, supervisor or anyone else) forced me to listen to religious preaching while on company time, I WOULD BE PUTTING THOSE LAWYERS TO WORK!!! There is no doubt I WOULD WIN THAT LAWSUIT!!! AnonymousSep 28 2009 1:20pm Here is a thought. Maybe it is better to practice the teachings of most religions in the work place rather than preaching religion. By that I mean being good and decent and fair to all of those you deal with. I think most religions each that in one way or another and wouldn't it be great if everyone would just shut up about what they believe when they are not at a service or other setting set aside for prayer and just practice those basic teachings instead. It is every Christian's duty and responsibility to reach out to people and teach them that Christ is their savior, even if they don't know it or haven't accepted it. The only way those people can be saved is for them to recognize that Jesus died for their sins. There is no law which contradicts this truth. RonOct 02 2009 11:01am In the Islamic religion, those who are non-Muslims are considered to be INFIDELS!!! Muslims insist that there is no god but Allah as is clearly pointed out in their Holy Koran. Under Islamic law, a non-Muslim man CANNOT marry a Muslim woman. A non-Muslim man must first convert to Islam before he is permitted to marry a Muslim woman. Muslims will tell Christians that there is no god but Allah while Christians will tell Muslims that if they don't believe in Jesus Christ, they will burn forever in the fires of Hell. This form of INTOLERANCE on the part of many is a major reason why war has existed throughout human history. As long as this form of intolerance continues, war will continue as well. One more note: Islam is not the only religion HIJACKED by terrorists (the Koran forbids the murder of innocents). Christianity, Judaism and other major religions have also been HIJACKED!!! But he or she is open to being shown there is something beyond and thus really has no belief and will believe only what is shown to be true.if that is correct, then an agnostic does not have a belief, but need to see something is true before subscribing to it. An agnostic simply takes the position that he or she neither believes nor disbelieves unless or until all objective evidence has been duly presented. If that objective evidence a.k.a. PHYSICAL PROOF!!!) has not been duly presented, then the agnostic will continue to neither believe nor disbelieve.
