Things would be more peaceful with females as rulers. When you think about it, the most evil perpetrators of tyranny and terror are also those who are the most oppressive to women. This is no coincidence. The only hope for the future of humanity is the defeat of those perpetrators. If we are successful in defeating them, it is likely women will rise to the top. Only a person who never worked under a female boss is able to believe that Earth would become peaceful if every nation had a female ruler. Beware of female bosses who are 55 years old and who were never married and have no children and have not dated in 25+ years and have NO LIFE outside the office. You do NOT want to work for them! That is because they are more dedicated and competent than their male counterparts. Recent studies reveal female managers are more productive. The fact that men can't keep up with the pace is an indication that women belong in the position of management. This is why women are taking over in the workplace. The fact is, there are female bosses who are dedicated and competent and then there are SADISTIC BITCHES IN CHARGE WHO ARE COUNTERPRODUCTIVE!!! I am a man who has worked under BOTH!!! I always go straight to Human Resources whenever I am being victimized by A SADISTIC BITCH IN CHARGE. While I was an office temp, I immediately had myself pulled from an assignment because of A SADISTIC BITCH!!! After one worker there knew I was leaving, she told me that others before me quit for that very same reason. Against the odds, women are taking the lead and i'm sure this take over will gather pace with women eventually holding all positions of authority. In my twenty years of working life i've seen numrous men replaced by more competent women. In my experience women like to see and make men work hard and take orders without question. I certainly have no problem with this, women make good bosses. My concern in this is what will happen to men when women own and run practically everything. Maybe you could give us an idea Cheryl. Men have allowed themselves to be phased out of higher education, so naturally the better educated will be the ones calling the shots. In addition, the characteristics necessary for success in the workplace are changing as society evolves. In other words, we are moving in a direction which demands a more feminine style of management, and women are naturally more qualified for decision making responsibilities. There are many factors which are causing this to happen. For one, women are more confident and assertive than ever before. We have higher test scores and grade point averages, and are being encouraged to succeed more than ever before. Women are now more competitive in all areas, even sports and politics. At the same time, men are being gradually marginalized, and seem to have lost the drive to adapt. Scholastic achievement statistics support this fact. The majority of college degrees are already being earned by women, and everything indicates that this trend will continue to increase. We are definitely seeing a quiet revolution in terms of gender roles. Employment statistics show that in 2009 women comprise the majority of the workplace for the first time in history. there is no indication that anything will reverse this trend. Men will gradually become accustomed to working for female bosses, something which is already happening. Since women will be higher wage earners, they will become the primary decision makers in most homes. This is already becoming the norm. Since these changes are gradual, men will adapt gradually. Those who choose to resist progress will probably find it much more difficult to prosper and find happiness. Eventually, they will adapt out of necessity. CherylJul 30 2009 11:09am One of the greatest sources (perhaps the greatest source) of problems for boys growing up today is: SINGLE MOTHERHOOD!!! With no male role model such as a father, boys have a much more difficult time growing up to become REAL MEN. A real man treats men and women alike with respect. It is a known fact that boys who grow up with no male role model around (it takes A MAN to be a dad!!!) are more likely to become juvenile delinquents, drop out of school, commit violent crimes and end up in prison. Ladies everywhere, pay very close attention to this: Such boys are also more likely to become ABUSIVE TO WOMEN!!! When they are being raised in the absence of a father, many boys do not stand a chance!!! They will become FEMINIZED to the point where they will "PEE SITTING DOWN!!!" Is this what we really want in our society? NO WAY!!! I am extremely grateful (and I am also VERY PROUD!!!) that I had my dad (THE ULTIMATE MALE ROLE MODEL!!!) there with me, through my infancy; through my childhood; through my adolescence; right up into my adulthood, to show me the way to becoming A REAL MAN!!! Thank goodness for me that my mother kept me on that path as well. A real man does not show feelings of contempt for the opposite sex. I would never want to be a boy growing up today. I wish boys growing up today all the luck I KNOW they will need. No matter what those female malcontents may be telling us, it is also a known fact that the best way to raise a family is WITH A MOTHER AND A FATHER IN THE HOUSEHOLD!!! I cannot deal with women who despise men. I avoid such women at all costs. I am eternally grateful that the women in my life, both inside and outside my family, treat me with love and respect. What man in his right mind wants to be surrounded by abusive, abrasive and insulting women? I pity men who are plagued with having to deal with such women on a regular basis. I AM DEFINITELY NOT AMONG SUCH MEN!!! To all boys and men, I recommend this book: "THE WAR AGAINST BOYS (How Misguided Feminism is Harming Our Young Men)" by Christina Hoff Sommers, published by Simon and Schuster Paperbacks (the hardcover edition may be harder to find). Among her many points, Hoff Sommers clearly points out the perils our society continues to face while boys continue to grow up in the absence of a father. The quiet revolution as you say is taking place. It's perfectly acceptable for men to do as they're told by women in the house, so why not around the world. A feminized society surely doesn't have to mean men being wimps, begging the nearest woman for permission to do anything. But rather accepting that there is no reason why women should not earn more than men, drive a better car, own a bigger house etc Women have so many natural advantages that should be admired and appreciated rather than turned against out of fright. We should welcome the changes that are taking place. But changes in laws to protect and benefit women, ensuring that any violence from men is sentenced swiftly and appropriately and women are readily awarded financial control, will certainly empower women and boost female authority. Of course men still hide behind crappy religions and use violence to oppress women now, but at least things are changing and in the right direction. As you say what goes around comes around. That makes me wonder Cheryl how far would you want to see the 'take over' go? Would men ultimately be as oppressed as women have been?
