I love working for cute female bosses, much younger than myself. My ideal boss is a girl, 20 years old or younger, who has been at the workplace several years less than myself, who I've trained, but has passed me to become my boss. Whne I'm 50, and have been with the organization for 25+ years, I would like to have an 18 year old female boss. Young, ambitious women are sexy! They also treat you MUCH better than would a male boss, epecially when you are a male. They listen better, and are much more approachable with problems. I wish more young girls and women would get into supervisor and manager positions, and that all my future bosses be younger women. Jim, your comment is 100% pure fantasy. The REALITY is that working for female bosses is a living Hell, and even my female Feminist friends openly admit that they that female bosses are a nightmare, and they would much prefer to work for a man. It is the man who must make the adjustments, as he is now perceived as a subordinate by the company, who promoted her. The company will support the female supervisor's side of any disagreement because she represents their interests. She has the power to reprimand him for insubordination and make it stick. She has the advantage in a politically correct system which advocates affirmative action. There are many women who have no business in positions of authority, but they have advanced because it is stylish and trendy to promote women over men. This is a trend which will continue to grow. Everywhere you look, all you see or hear is "studies" of how women are superior in every way, especially in leadership. I saw a comment about a young women boasting about how she was in charge of several oder men, and how she wore short skirts to manipulate her subordinates into doing everyhting she wanted. She also said she would have any of them charged for sexual harrasment if they looked at her too long. Is this leadership? Most male bosses I've had have treated me like crap. I've had a few female bosses that were lousy. I've never had problems with a younger female boss. I'm 53 and have worked in whole sale since I was out of collage. When I was 39 I ran an entire whole end of a huge company, at that time one of my sons girlfriend who was intertsed in fashion asked for an internship which a gladly arranged for her. She was a beautiful young girl that worked with me and learned the ropes... Now 14 years later at my new job she's my boss. I tell you when I first relapsed it was her my heart sank, this was the girl that got me my coffee and filled my paper work now she's my boss? I had a really hard time the first few weeks, after all she use to sleep with my son, and know my son is hung as I am she must know that also. Now here she is being my the boss of a 53 year old hung fit man. That said she has turned out to be very bright and does her job well. However she's a ball buster and that's something we all feel working for her. She's extremely demanding and strict. My first annual review is in a few weeks and she's going to give it to me. Women are being promoted faster than men, and they will keep advancing as they continue to take over the educational system. It seems there is not much choice anymore other than to accept female bosses as a fact of life. my only suggestion for Mike G is to try to put it out of your head that she is a young woman, and just accept her position. Try to get along with her and learn how to conform to her policies. Women are the new leaders, and they are not going away. In order to survive, it is important to deal with the changes. Recently our boss a 56 year old man was terminated for reasons we are not privy to. Since I'm the only employee on the team that has been here the longest, everyone including myself assumed I would get the promotion. Well, in walks this 27 year old woman and is introduced to all of us as our new boss. My heart sank at first because I was expecting the promotion, not even thinking that she was going to be our new supervisor, It took me a few minutes to even focus before I realized what had just happened. To be frank and honest she is a very smart young woman, with a fresh take on things, and fully motivated. However, she happens to be one of the biggest bitches I've ever come across in my life. I think the power of her directing a team of men has made her feel this superiority that is almost impossible to work with. It has nothing to do with the fact the she is a woman, it has to do with the fact that she is young and with an attitude, and thinks that bc of that she has to be extra strict. The fact the she calls me into her office regularly questioning my projects has me on edge to say the least. When I was her age she was in dippers, and now she sits in her office, and tells me what changes she "requires" to be made to my projects? Many of times by the time I leave her office and go back to my desk, I feel as if my balls have shrunken so small that I am less of a man that I was. The worst part is that after all these years I'm at the mercy of this young woman. I need to ask permission from her for a day off, vacation time, and well when the time came for me to have my year end review, I probably could have died of humiliation that day. After 7 months of braking my balls daily, she calls me in for my review and tells me she finds my performance unsatisfactory and is putting me on a 3 month notice. I'm not sure who you are out there that feels you would love to have my life, I will tell you that I've never been so emasculated in my life before. I walked out of that review basically with my tail between my legs and my balls in her hand. My son starts collage next year, and I can not afford to lose this job. She has total control over me, and there is nothing I can do about it. Can anyone here tell me for real how I'm suppose to deal ? After the crash my company shut down, I lost my investments. In order to eat I work at a department store.
