Are American political elections fixed?

Question: The election process is so complex and confusing that most people can't figure out what is really happening. Is this just a shell game that is fixed from the beginning?

You need a maybe, If your voting leaves a paper trail, there a good chance for a "NO". On the other hand if there is no paper trail, there this the possibility for a "YES".

The whole system is rigged. The media chose the candidates to suit their own agenda. Not a single one of the remaining candidates has the qualifications.
