It should say, "What do you think about men who are attracted to physically stronger women?" I would say it is great with men that can appreciate a woman that is physically stronger. Most men cannot cope with a woman that is taller, heavier than themselves and stronger is totally out of the question. I know since I am 185 cm and 92 kgs, I have been a shotputter and can lift heavey weights. Most men are weaker than me. And I don't want to date a man that is bigger and stronger than me since I enjoy being the stronger. I am not violent and dominant in other ways but really enjoy wrestling my men down. Nothing strange with that since I am big and strong I think. Some of the men I have dated have left me as soon as they realise I am a lot stronger then them. Bu I don't want a man that like me because I am big and strong, I am a sensible person and an intellectual one as well. The wrestling part is for fun. In stark contrast, it's the men who want to be slender, vulnerable and protected. Young males between the ages of 18 and 30 make up the slimmest segment of the population and the ideal fashion weight as decreed by the apparel industry is 57 kilograms, or about 125 pounds, for a height of 175 centimeters, or 5 feet 8 inches. Many men try to adhere to that figure and some claim they want to be even skinnier. Twenty-five-year-old Junichi Shirakawa, who works at the denim boutique 45 RPM, said that his goal is to get his weight down from 57 to 55 kilograms, although his height is 182 centimeters. "Being really skinny is essential, not just for fashion and work purposes but also because girls seem to go for thin guys," he said. Both Shirakawa and his girlfriend like the fact that she weighs more than he does, and is the leader of the couple. "She's a lot stronger than I am, can lift heavy things and go drinking until dawn. I admire that about her, and feel protected when I'm around her," he said. Older than he by five years, it was Shirakawa's girlfriend who made the approach, started the dating process and decided what course their relationship would take. "Frankly, I think women should be in the driver's seat. Society and relationships work better that way," he said. Shirakawa likes to wear his girlfriend's clothes and often shows up for work wearing her blouse and jeans, to the general approval of his co-workers. This seeming reversal of traditional gender roles has spawned such interesting fashion items as the "unsexy miniskirt," a term coined by the TV commentator Ryuichi Fujita. All the rage this autumn is the short, short skirt combined with boots or ballet shoes - the salient feature of this look is that it shows a lot but says nothing and is consequently "apolitical and not sexy at all," according to Fujita. Indeed, it seems that Japanese women have reclaimed sexuality as their very own and now dress to enhance their self-esteem rather than to please the male gaze, which was what a big part of street fashion had been about. Now that the male gaze is focused primarily on the men themselves, the equation of short skirts and wolf whistles just doesn't work anymore. As Hirayama said, "The term kawaii [cute] used to be something that described women, or female attributes. Now women are more likely to use that to talk about men and what they're wearing. As a result, more young men aspire to be cute." Indeed, young men claim to want to be pursued and then nurtured - they often hate to make the first move and often shy away from conflict. That mind-set is reflected in men's fashion and fashion design. The trend now is for men to look like they want to be fed and/or devoured by women. Lad Musician burst onto the Tokyo fashion scene in 1995 in a glam-rock/low-slung-guitar kind of way, espousing an emaciated, tragic sexiness enhanced by clinging silhouetted tops and slim, revealing pants with no pockets and very little breathing space. Lad Musician aesthetics has grown thanks to the general weight loss among young men, and the silhouettes (especially for long-sleeved T-shirts, polo shirts and sweaters) are tighter than ever before. Young men will combine these tops with baggy jeans that are suspended 8 centimeters below the navel on terrifically flat stomachs, subconsciously channeling, perhaps, the Kate Moss look of the late 1990s. Kuroda's designs are famed for being extremely selective, shunning those who weigh more than 63 kilograms or are overly muscular. Other brands are following suit, so that men's sizes are steadily diminishing while women's clothing sizes are getting distinctly roomier. To Nigo, who directs A Bathing Ape, Tokyo's most successful and visible street brand, this makes sense: men's designer clothes should target the thin and seemingly unfit. "Designer clothes look best on men whose bodies don't do the talking, that are silent, slim, practically invisible," said Nigo, a waif-like figure with slender, girlish wrists. Met my wife 25 years ago, she was around 65 kgs, and 168 cm. I was then 179 cm and 65 kgs. We had two children, my wife gained 20 kgs in 5 years (more when she was pregnant). She was really big and over weight but also a hell of a lot stronger. She had told me that she strangely enough got stronger with each kid. She started to work out to get back in shape and found out she was right, she could the first day at the gym bench 50 kgs! She had never lifted before. After one year going frequently to the gym she had lost 10 kgs and you could see that she had gained muscle. After another year she was around 73-74 kgs but now most of the fat was gone. I had kind of liked the big 85 kg woman, 20 kgs heavier than me, now I had a woman 7-8 kgs heavier but also a lot stronger. We found out going to the gym that she was more than 50% stronger than me in the upper body and more like twice as strong as me in the lower. Something I loved. I won't lie that I was attracted to her from the start when we were in high school. The crazy part was that she went through what was like a second growth spurt in her junior year and kept going in her senior year. Most girls stop growing height wise earlier on. She then told me to turn around and go to the wall that was mirrored in the dining room. She told me when I finally got there to close my eyes. I did with out hesitation. She then followed me and I could hear her heels walking on the hardwood floors. I stood there with my eyes closed. She replied that she just loved working out and couldn't imagine not doing so now and that her gains in strength kept her motivated to go further, plus she thought she was looking better and better as she progressed. I think I said something like well if that's what you want keep going, although I was thinking when is this madness going to end. A couple of weeks later she said darling how about having an arm wrestle to see how much stronger you are than me. It came totally out of the blue so I was totally unprepared to give the answer I should have which of course was don't be ridiculous what would that prove. Instead I said ok but don't expect me to take it easy. I was wanting to give her a good thrashing so she would stop this nonsense. She replied that she didn't want me to go easy she wanted to have a real test. So we set down opposite across a table and clasped hands. I was surprised at the strength of her grip and when I looked at her, the determination on her face. I also noticed for the first time that her arm looked almost as big as mine, which was a real shock, her arms used to be so skinny. I decided to beat her within the first few seconds to show her that I was no 6 stone weakling. When she said 3 2 1 go I put almost everything into it and felt her arm going backwards, but then she increased her effort and held my arm still so I put my full force into it and gradually moved her arm backwards again and very slowly inched her arm down to the table, but it took probably well over a minute. I congratulated my wife on putting up such strong resistance and saying it was a lot closer than I expected. Thank you dear she replied we must do this again in a couple of weeks lets see how long you can stay ahead of me. Then the lightning bolt struck me, if I didn't do something quickly she would soon be stronger than me. The thought was unthinkable, my wife stronger than me, I would be a laughing stock and my wife would, would what, order me around, beat me up, humiliate me ? What would she do and think, I started to panic. I didn't want to join a gym or work out that was for losers. Maybe I should start doing press Ups at home and go jogging, or just move some heavy furniture, but that was ridiculous. That night before my wife got into bed she started flexing her biceps as she stood in front of the mirror, then turning to me grinning said not bad for an ex skinny girl eh ? I realised now that she certainly was not skinny anymore and her biceps looked quite large for a girl. I told her she was making remarkable progress and would be starting to exercise myself to give her better competition, but I still didn't know what exercise j should do. The next two weeks flew by and before I knew it she challenged me to another arm wrestle, and I knew I was in trouble as I still hadn't started to work out. This time as I expected it was even closer and it probably took over 2 minutes for me to win and my wife started to celebrate as if she had won, crowing that it wouldn't be long before she would be beating me. She flexed an impressive bicep right in front of my face and said this is going to beat you within a few months honey. I said is that what this is all about, you are going to the gym so that you can be stronger than me ? She laughed condescendingly at me and said don't be ridiculous why would I want to do that, it is just a bit of fun seeing the strength gap between us. That didn't make me feel any better, and reluctantly I did join the gym and decided to go with my wife so that she could show me how to use all the machines. I was amazed at how she was totally at home in this environment and even more amazed at how much weight she used for all of the exercises. I soon found out that although I was still stronger than her she could lift the weights more times than I could in virtually every exercise, especially legs where she beat me easily. This was a real eye opener to me and I found myself genuinely admiring my wife for the first time. After the work out I made the obvious excuse of being a bit rusty with the weights, trying to hide my embarrassment, and the next few days was so stiff I could hardly move, proving my point. Next time at the gym I took it easier as I didn't want that to happen again, and over the next few weeks gradually built up my energy output until I could work out to the max. Even then I could not match my wife for repetitions and she had caught me up in strength as arm wrestling was now a stalemate. Then came another shock she said lets try left handed and to my horror she won rather easily. The funny thing was I couldn't help admiring my wife. She had humiliated me in my eyes but had transformed her body from tall and slim (all flesh and bone) to a superbly built athletic looking figure which I now realised I did like very much. Over the next two years I tried mu utmost to build my strength and endurance and made good progress, but I couldn't make any gains on my wife who actually improved her advantages over me. I suppose her year or so head start was too much of an advantage. She can now beat me right handed in arm wrestling and I couldn't care less. She is one hell of a gorgeous amazon.
