It used to be a man;s world, but women have taken the driver's seat nowadays. It is hard not to notice the feminization of society, women surely have the upper hand. The times they are a changin'. We have to work even harder then men, to get some respect. Its not that we are trying to walk all over you, but we have to do whatever we can to get some equality. You may think things are equal between men and women, but there not. Im trying to be as nice as possible, but I get very angry when I have to stick up for myself like this. I shouldnt have to. Men have to be smart enough to know that things still arent equal, and stop being jerks... saying we get away with whatever we want. Things have changed, women are staying at home, waiting on men hand and foot. Our place is out in the world, not the kitchen. So if you have a problem with how things are going in the world...... you will just have to deal with it, like us women have to deal with the inequality. In our home my wife makes all of the important decisions, decides how we spend money or save money, and overall makes all of those decisions that make a household work better. I'm not a weak male, but I can admit that women are just better at managing many different things all going on at the same time. Women are just so good at multi-tasking, something the male brain can't handle, so its more logical and efficient to follow my wife's rules. I trust my wife's decisions as I know she always wants what is best for our family. I think that when the husband tries to rule the house relationships are worse, most women divorce because the man makes a mess of everything; spends too much money, drinks too much, watches T.V. all the time, reads porn magazines, doesn't care what his wife thinks, ect. This almost never happens in a home where the woman makes all the rules. Its time for men to just sit down, shut up, and listen to their women. Men will find themselves in a much happier relationship when they learn to listen and follow a woman's advice. Neither my boss nor my wife are into "power" they just want things to go the way they think they should. At home and at work I am managed with different methods (penalties and rewards) but the result is the same. I am learning to accept and even like this. Somebody wrote that the changes in the status of women and men over the last century are so enormous that the people of that time would be unable to believe the way things are today. A lot of people seem to think the rise of women is some kind of conspiracy by power hungry female supremacists. But that is not the case at all. Women are just going about their business, and their status is being elevated by circumstances which are the results of changing needs in society. Most women don't want to dominate men, but are not afraid to accept the responsibility of authority if called upon to do so. The woman who was promoted in the office wasn't obsessed with establishing herself in a position of superiority, she was put there because that is what was needed. First of all, physical strength does not always make you the boss. Economic superiority and intellectual superiority can give women the edge in a world where brute strength no longer rules. Secondly, women are getting much stronger physically and many women are stronger than their mates. So, if you still believe that physical strength always decides the dominant person in any relationship, then women may be starting to win there too. My wife is stronger and smarter than me, so she wins in both categories.
