Why would somebody be against the war when it comes to a country and its people being freed from their tiranic leader... I guess some people don't know how a totalitarian country is... The only reason is that they are liberals who are desperate to villify a couragous president. They are so focused on smearing Bush that they don't care if they are on the wrong side of an issue, as long as they can "raise questions". Hopefully, the American people can see through it. PeteMar 30 2004 9:08pm If the US was in the business of liberating people from tyranny why didn't Bush invade N. Korea or the Sudan or Myanmar? AnonymousJul 24 2004 3:01am Also, the war against Iraq was never about the "liberation" of the Iraqi people. It was about oil. Bush and his cronies knew there were no WMDs, but they went in anyway. Now he, and the rest of the right wing are just too dishonest to admit they made a mess. I believe we now have no choice but to stay the course and clean up our mess, but it was never about Iraqi freedom. Bush said it himself. It was about finding WMDs and finding WMDs alone. He, and the right wing could not have cared less about the Iraqis. SteveDec 01 2004 7:30am #0005 - (Sun.) * 6/8/08 UpdateJun 08 2008 11:54am Add a comment: Vote Results |
