Also, dwarfism is the dominant gene...so (cutting out all the scientific stuff for all the laypeople out there) there is a chance that a dwarf's child will turn out perfectly normal should the parents be heterozygous (having both the dominant and recessive gene...) Why are people picking on midgets? They aren't "weird" looking, they look like short people. People being the key word here! They are people with a physical disability, not an emotional disability. Dwarves have "normal" sized torsos and heads and shortened arms and legs. Being short or small should not be that much of a problem in life, especially if it's not extreme- i.e. under one foot high, for example. And society is much more accepting of all kinds of variety of human beings in general than in the near past. The problem is with people having problems with people being different, not with the variety of human life.
