I believe the earth and life on it came into being as described in evolution and the big bang theory and it was caused and directed by God. I believe the sequence of creation as described in the Bible is a kind of poetic description of the processes of evolution. First there was darkness. Then there was Light- that's the Big Bang. Big Bang doesn't explain universe existence, it just picks up from tiny split of second and goes on. I just know Chinese are not behind it .
