The Great Depression: were your relatives rich or poor during that era?
Question: I have done well. I own two homes and comfortable income. My 85 year old mother told me,hwoever, she,sister,brother and parents lived in garage for 3 yrs during the great depression. It had a cement floor, no running water. Used a kerosene lamp and stove. And the dad got sick with TB! That's rough! So were your relatives rich or poor during the depression? And explain how rich or poor were they?
