Universal Health care: Could private insurers survive?
Question: As we know Borack Obama is trying to push through his universal health care program.
If it happens(and it probably will), will the private insurance providers simply dissappear? My mother who is 83 has COPD. ANd has been getting excellent care through her HMO.How would she fare under a goverment run system? So my question is basically what I said.If everyone will be guarenteed free healthcare,could the private insurers stay in business, even though a goverment run system would be lower quality?
